Meet the Nurse
Perhaps the most magical of all things is the human placenta. It grows in our bodies right along with our tiny babies. It filters blood and feeds our most precious gift. Without it we could not have life. Not only does it provide for the baby while baby grows, it can provide for the mother during the postpartum period.
Through the art of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) we can use the placenta to help a new mother receive those lost hormones, reduce fatigue and boost her milk supply.
I love to work with new parents and newborns. It would be an honor to prepare your placenta for you and offer you any needed postpartum support.
Registered Nurse/ Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist
I have been working in a hospital setting as a RN for the past 10 years, specializing in Mother/Baby nursing. I have taught classes in newborn care, new/big sibling class for young children and give hospital tours. I am very familiar with hospital policies & procedures which allows me to offer my clients information, tips & what to expect prior to the birth of their baby.
I am a Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist (CPES) through Placenta Benenfits (PBi). I provide concierge placenta preparation services, which means services are tailored to each client and her specific needs and schedule using the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) technique. See the offerings page for more information.
